200 MASTERS OF APPEAL AGAINST THE NATIONAL ASSESSMENTS

During the 2009 school year, national assessments for pupils in CM2 and CC1 - and desired by the Minister Xavier Darcos - arrived in schools as if they were subjects of the BA (the secret documents provided to ensure the next day). Rarely will a device caused many negative reactions among primary school teachers as among the parents, and for good reason. It was in the middle of the school year to assess an entire year, which is more on new programs recently imposed. Several tests were inadequate (level of difficulty, time allowed). More correction mode which admitted that 1 or 0 makes it impossible to assess the analysis of the reasons for the failure of a student. Finally, the risk of public communication of results, and thus a competition between schools was over.

Despite mass protests and argued for education professionals and non-disclosure of 30% of the results of CM2, all schools in France was back in January (CM2) and May (CE1 ) future assessments in the state pedagogically irresponsible as they had appeared, with the same aberration, the same nuisance and the same risks.

Moreover, the examinations were rewarded with a bonus of 400 €, whose distribution is against the republican principle of equality, here and there, generating tensions and conflicts (between colleagues sharing the same office, the problem of substitutes, teachers who changed schools). All this applies to variable geometry: when some academies and easily distribute the premium, others do so only total compliance with the procedure. Similarly, under the pretext "of" service employee is not ", colleagues have lost, in addition to the bonus, a day's pay.

It So with contempt and infantile that the administration will again seek the award of these evaluations to teachers who would not, however, opposed to real tools to serve students and their learning.

That's why we call the masters and mistresses for which the Department reduces service and obedience to the management of scarcity (massive job losses, week 4 days new programs, personal assistance, computer file-based students, and planned end of RASED IUFM), as well as parents, to oppose these assessments in the manner of their choice: boycott (an invalid absent student evaluations), simple execution of skills already worked, scoring more intelligent use of other Documents ... In all cases, we ask our colleagues to send any results to the administration or to make forms that it could not operate. We welcome the advice of teachers to publicly support those among them who, in cm2 as CE1, would be forced to do so in the interest of students, the first victims of this nonsense.

Finally, we urge all those - teachers, parents, unions, educational movements, popular education associations, federations of parents - who recognize the truth of this Action to join this call and distribute it widely around them in the interest and respect for our students and values that underpin the school of the republic.
